WEB EXTRA: Helping Texas Veterans

This week, Rick Casey and guests talk about the hundreds of Texas veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan and have died of drug overdoses, suicide and vehicle crashes.

The Austin American Statesman reveals these deaths are part of a pattern that authorities have failed to adequately track. Veterans groups say it is a fraction of those who are able to re-integrate into society, but most agree more needs to be done to provide additional services.
